Keep your phone close and your E38's wood trim untouched.

The wood trim is part of what makes an E38 interior special. This mount is designed to give your phone a proper home without damaging that finish. Its low-profile bracket sits beneath the wood trim beside the center display, keeping the setup discreet and the air vents clear.

With the Auto-Grabbing holder, easy one-handed use makes placing and removing your phone simple. The compact mounting position stays out of your way. The E38-specific bracket is 3D-printed in glass-fiber-reinforced ABS (ABS-GF).

Before you order

Choose Auto-Grabbing for a phone holder with motorized arms, MagSafe (No Charging) for a MagSafe-compatible magnetic holder without charging, or 17mm Ball Joint Only to use your own compatible holder. The ball-joint-only option does not include a phone holder. The holder pictured may differ from your selected option; check the Option Guide for what each version includes.

Choose your setup. Auto-Grabbing and MagSafe (No Charging) each include a holder. The 17mm Ball Joint Only option lets you fit your own compatible holder.
E38-specific ABS-GF bracket. 3D-printed in glass-fiber-reinforced ABS.

Auto-Grabbing. Includes the E38 ABS-GF bracket, ball joint and motorized phone holder. Phone detection operates the arms for easy one-handed use. The holder's battery recharges via USB-C.

MagSafe (No Charging). Includes the E38 ABS-GF bracket, ball joint and MagSafe-compatible magnetic phone holder. This option holds your phone magnetically and does not charge it.

17mm Ball Joint Only. Includes the E38 ABS-GF bracket and 17 mm ball joint. Bring your own holder with a compatible 17 mm socket; no phone holder is included.

These are the three options available in the selector. A magnetic holder shown in installation photos is not included with the 17mm Ball Joint Only option.

The bracket sits beneath the wood trim beside the center display and is designed to preserve the wood finish.

With the holder fitted, adjust the phone position and check that the screen, controls and vents remain accessible before use.

The Auto-Grabbing holder has a USB-C rechargeable battery for its motorized arms. This powers the holder; it does not mean the phone is wirelessly charged.

Before Installation

Inspect and test-fit all parts before installation. Damage caused by improper installation, wiring or modification is not covered.

BMW E38 phone mount

I received the BMW E38 phone mount yesterday August 20) and installed it in my car that same evening. The phone mount seems to be very good quality. I use it for my FIIO M21 to stream high resolution music to a bluetooth module I've installed in the boot. I'm very satisfied with this solution.

Well made product. Just wish three things:
1. Faster delivery.
2. Better installation instructions.
3. Not be required to sign for the delivery. It is quite inconvenient to pickup the package at the post office when the mail carrier arrives when I am not home.

Delivery speed is based on our shipping policy, and the product production time is 5-7 days (excluding weekends), which is an uncontrollable factor.
