Modern functionality, factory-style fit. This BMW E30 Modular Ashtray Conversion System transforms your center console into a practical control hub—without sacrificing the OEM aesthetic. The base plate replaces your original ashtray and accepts modular inserts for USB charging, voltage monitoring, ball mounts, and I/O switching. Perfect for E30 enthusiasts who daily their car or want subtle modern upgrades.

Each insert is built around E36 OEM switch dimensions, making it compatible with E36-style switches and aftermarket modules.

Please note: the conversion base plate is a mandatory purchase; the modules will not fit on their own.

The conversion base is required and must be selected along with your modules. Modules do not fit the E30 ashtray on their own.

Installation is straightforward:

Remove your original ashtray
Install the conversion base plate using the included hardware
Plug in your chosen module to a 12V power source
Snap the module into the base plate
