Replace the mostly unused E46 ashtray with USB charging, an optional volt meter, and useful storage while keeping the original ashtray lid.

Close the lid and the interior stays completely OEM. Open it when you need power.

Product great, installation instructions lacking

The product is fantastic and works exceptionally well. It seamlessly integrates into the ash tray. However, the installation process for the 2-port charger with a voltmeter is more complex than the instructional video suggests. It involves removing the center console trim to access the wiring behind the cigarette lighter and splicing the wires. If the instructional video was more informative, I would easily give this product a 5-star rating.

We have a huge catalog of products and couldn't manage to shoot videos of all products unfortunately. We assume our customers to be DIY savvy dudes as we are BMW owners XD. Thank you for your positive review nontheless!

Great modern touch that still looks classic.

Very easy to set up, nice to have the fast charging usb-c ports and the volt meter while still having a little storage cubby.

Fit perfectly into my ashtray

I bought one because I don’t smoke and I figured that space where the ashtray goes would be better suited for storage. It makes the most use of the open space that’s there. It has a little hole in the side for lathe car’s LED light to shine through. At first I thought that’d be a bad thing for stuff to fall though, but when I thought about it; what stuff could someone possibly have that’s small enough to fit through that hole? I don’t have anything that small. That tray is perfect for storing cords or money. I’m glad I bought it.

Reading this review made me realize only BMW nerds like us will care about weather the ashtray space is utilize or not we designed it to let the OEM light thru so it illuminates the object within the box! A really nice touch imo!
