Know your gear at a glance.

Rendition ShiftView™ adds a dedicated digital gear display to your manual car. It shows neutral, reverse and gears 1-6 using a Hall effect sensor and magnet mounted around the shifter, rather than a connection to the car’s electronics.

No ECU connection. No CAN integration. No coding. Once the sensor and magnet are securely mounted, calibrate your shift pattern and ShiftView remembers it for the next drive.

The 52 mm display comes with a swivel stand, mounting flange and 17 mm ball-joint hardware, giving you options for positioning it on the dashboard or in a compatible gauge pod. The display, sensor, magnet and mounting hardware are supplied together as a complete kit.

Before you order

Designed for compatible 5- and 6-speed H-pattern manual shifters, including dog-leg layouts. Check that your shifter area has room for the sensor and magnet throughout the full shift pattern. Installation requires a 12 V ignition power connection, ground and calibration. Not compatible with sequential transmissions.

One complete kit. No separate 5-speed, 6-speed, left-hand-drive or right-hand-drive version is required. Your shift pattern is programmed during calibration.

Choose your mounting approach before installation:

Swivel stand: use the included adhesive base on a suitable flat mounting surface.
52 mm flange: use a compatible gauge pod or dashboard opening.
17 mm ball joint: integrate the display with a compatible existing ball-mount setup.

These are mounting methods for the same kit, not separate product variants. Check the Fitment section and installation video before ordering.

1. Position the display. Choose the included swivel stand and adhesive base for a suitable flat surface, the 52 mm flange for a compatible gauge pod or dash opening, or a compatible 17 mm ball mount. Keep the display clear of your view and vehicle controls.

2. Test-fit and mount the sensor. Use the supplied 3M adhesive bracket to position the sensor near the shifter on the console or transmission tunnel. Check the sensor and magnet positions through the full shift pattern before final mounting.

3. Secure the magnet. Attach it to the shifter using the supplied zip-tie block or metal clamp. Both the sensor and magnet must remain firmly secured; movement after calibration can affect the displayed gear.

4. Connect power. Connect to a suitable 12 V ignition-switched power source and ground, following the installation guide. Electrical wiring is required; this is not an OBD plug-in device.

5. Calibrate and check. With the vehicle safely parked, follow the guide to program neutral, reverse and each forward gear in your transmission. ShiftView stores the pattern for subsequent use. Confirm every gear displays correctly before driving.

Installation time varies with the vehicle, shifter access and chosen mounting position.
