fits perfect, works good. if you get one with a voltmeter, you will need to splice some wires from the telephone electrical harness. theres about 3 wires that are powered when ignition on. i used the purple/white wire

fitment is great and wiring is really seamless but the suggested cigarette lighter wiring causes the voltmeter to stay on constantly.
I tried finding other wires to splice into that is only ignition on, but those seem to turn off after some time.
i wish i got the outlet without voltmeter, the LED display will be a drain on the battery over time
Thanks for the feedback! You can wire the voltmeter to an ignition-switched power source so it turns off with the key. Its power draw is very low, approximately 0.02W, but switched power is the way to go if you want it completely off when parked. The charging module fits snug into the place where the ashtray was and charges rapid. Connecting it to the cigarette lighter power was relatively easy but requires soldering. As said in the title, install instructions would've been a nice to have. Overall a doable install without any required knowledge, just the ability to search the web.

Beautiful design and perfect fit. Never got the battery voltage meter to light up but the chargers work fine. Should have tested before screwing everything back together! This is a must for e39s.
